This project was a collaboration between Sarah and a coworker. Starting as an empty pit in front of an apartment building, this area was transformed into a social space with surrounding plant material. Some highlights of the project include a paver patio, a stone retaining wall, a seating area and beautiful plant material such as Japanese Maples. What is not seen is just as important as what is seen— a seamless waterproofing system ensuring the parking garage below is not affected by weather events.
